About Meneghello Paolelli Associati

A modular system to transform urban balconies and terraces into multifunctional spaces, vertical gardens with green plants or a place to implement any decorating ideas.

“The city lives and the public and private areas evolve. There is a transformation in the use of areas and Urbn Balcony understands this change by creating new multiple solutions of micro-furnishings for a better use of city balconies or small outdoor areas. Urbn Balcony is a system which can be configured for modern terraces. Eating, reading, studying, working, hanging out washing, looking after plants and flowers, relaxing: these are just a few of the things one can do in this “renewed” space that, however small it might be, is of truly great value.”

Urbn Balcony is composed of a modular structure in iroko, an exclusive wood of undisputed quality, perfect for outdoor use given its great durability. Urbn Balcony can be fixed either to ceilings or walls providing support for a series of accessories in white aluminium: flowerboxes, pots, cupboards, shelves, worktops, clotheslines, screens and shades. Everything can be made to measure and adapted to create an environment ideal for any requirement for any vertical Garden, green plants, and house or apartment balcony decorating ideas.

Product details on the green wall: Set on a gentle flat moss subsoil, clumps of pole moss are spread across the wall, giving the panels a varied and at the same orderly design. The pole moss, which is actually not a moss but rather a lichen – i.e. a symbiosis of algae and fungus – forms lush, fresh pads that rise from the subsoil with their round form. The result is a form of vertical greenery that not only insulates sounds, but also requires no maintenance thanks to a special preservation process – so no additional costs and no watering. Individual dimensions and different shades guarantee a unique character for any moss wall.

The flat moss wall is versatile, livens up bedrooms and dining areas and transforms dreary conference spaces. When this wall is around, it’s easy to forget that you’re not on a densely planted, lusciously soft clearing in the Nordic tundra.
